હું માનું છું કે કોઈપણ વાર્તાની સાચી શક્તિ તેની લાગણીસભર પ્રામાણિકતામાં રહેલી છે. મારા પાત્રો ક્યારેય સંપૂર્ણ નથી હોતા, કારણ કે પૂર્ણતા ન તો આકર્ષક છે કે ન તો જીવનની વાસ્તવિકતાનું સાચું પ્રતિબિંબ. હું એવી વાર્તાઓ સર્જવાનો પ્રયત્ન કરું છું, જે માનવીય અપૂર્ણતાઓ, ઈચ્છાઓ, નબળાઈઓ અને ઘણીવાર ન કહી શકાતી અબોલ લાગણીઓને સ્વીકારે.

લેખન દ્વારા મારી એવી આશા રહે છે કે વાચકો મારા પાત્રોમાં એમના પોતાના મનની આંતરિક દુનિયાની ઝલક મેળવી શકે, મારા પાત્રોમાં એમનું પોતાનું પ્રતિબિંબ સમજણ, સહાનુભૂતિ અને કરુણા સાથે જોઈ શકે.
